MY RESUME – MY BIOGRAPHY………………….
I do not have a biography.
Diplomas were not given to me.
That little I own, is the one I only know.
A little bit of help in Erikousa … .. though my mind was elsewhere.
That is, fishing, traps, swimming, play and research.
And a little help the high school in Aegina, four classes … but there …. elseehere I was stumbling.
So they cut off my education … .. to go to elementary school and a little high school.
Great education is the Olive Tree. Under its shadow I learned about the sky and its size. Under the roots of the Olive Tree I saw the stars and I measured the universe there, I understood Euclid’s thought and the way of measurement.
In the Roussos cypress, I grasped the mark, there I was thinking of Panathinaia and the Spartans shot.
In the algae and Maratha, I measured the circles of life and found how many triangles, squares and rectangles it has, so that Thalis and Xenocratis can be made more understandable and easy to read.
On the long line, I measured the nylon, and with the sign Pantokrator and Phanari I learned that Archimedes measured the distances in Pericles in Athens.
I made my javelin and my monk blindfolds, traps and plaques I set for turtles, I always had a bow, and as an ancient warrior I was turning around the island like the great-grandmother’s gunner in the battle of Gaugamela
On the sand in Braggini I counted a grain, to know Pythagoras and his mathematical thought.
I washed my wounds with clean water and closed them with clay and milk of a fig tree like Asclepius and Hippocrates.
Under the pistachios, I counted the great and the little Arctus like Thrasillo, Hypatia and Claudio Ptolemy.
From Hagio Vasili I was running on the Skala of Karapanos and I climbed to the Vrohia in order to compete with Orpipus of Megara, Lada of Argos and Lathheni of Thebes.
In the library of our Capodistrian High School in the rule of Ioannis Kapodistrias I discovered Antigone of Sophocles and I said ……
<< Whether you are Antigone, say a friend, not sinful, or Helektron, both ends. >>
The Ancient Messages I found in small books with the myths of Aesop, which was sold by Mr. Fotis Giotis in the center of the harbor in the bookstore with the newspapers, Blake and Mikro Cowboy.
In the Civil Education, our horror that Miss Alexandratos “taught” I put these booklets and scribbled the messages of the great philosopher.
Ancient Greek and Exhibition with Miss Kapi and Mr. Rigopoulos were my best but I understood it much later … ..
At the Pyrofani with Uncle Niko in Faro and Hagio Vasili, I found the iodine and the phosphorus of the sea and other metals that our ancestors used.
There I learned that Xenophon is often referred to in the Country of Heaven, while Herodotus speaks of the Babylon Bridge, which was erected by iron and lead on the banks of the river Euphrates on King Niitris.
In Perivola I lived the most important years with wonderful people and a good lady who after 40 years hurt me for some dwarves and a back yard. So I learned that Orestes managed to stand up in so much trouble.
Three great steps of my life, like three lives I lived at the same time in three different places, EREIKOUSA – EGINA – AMERICA.
Then I continued to be educated in New York’s restaurants with the most demanding customers, big and grand, but also with the poor and the popular.
A terrific university is our city. The best of the world. As you come here 16 years old alone and you reach 57 and you are still full with two wonderful children and a lot of experiences that are heavy on you …. Then you are not just a hero.
Ictinus and Kallikratis spread from Wall Street to the Metropolitan Museum. Hermes to Madison Avenue and Orpheus to Bleaker Street were in their shape on the walls of the great city.
Media of Euripides at Manhattan City Theater and Iphigenia at the next show gave me chills and excitement every time I walked through the endless streets of this state-of-the-art state.
In the restaurants I managed to climb to the highest offices and by the dishes and sponge I became a chef and manager, that is to say a general manager. Many times I was also the CEO of other << Bosses >> who needed help in their business.
The scientific staff of the restaurants were usually made up of people of many races and different languages so that I could learn other languages other than English, such as Spanish, Italian, a few French …. and many Greek …………… ..
Greater offer to my training was the Greeks, the bosses who were totally uneducated, but hardly caught in money and in very difficult moments they were pulling me in strips … but I stubborn, as another Prometheus I always got excellent …. and the my liver I was holding to myself.
Nevertheless, here I met the take-off of Hellenism and the spirit of the philosophers.
Here I felt the Hellenic Light to grow in this modern Babylon….!
